Rotork Acquires Fairchild Industrial Products Company USA

Fairchild is pleased to announce it has been acquired and will be part of Rotork as of November 18, 2011. Rotork acquired Fairchild because it is in line with their strategy of strengthening their presence in the global flow control market whilst remaining close to their core business. Rotork is the market leading actuator manufacturer and flow control company, serving the oil and gas, power, water, process industries, marine and mining markets. As a very innovative company, Rotork provides reliable solutions to manage the flow of liquids, gases and powders in their applications.

In conjunction with this acquisition, Rotork is also creating a new division, Rotork Instruments, that will broaden the scope of their activities. Rotork Instruments will focus on developing further opportunities in the flow control market; in particular, products associated with flow and pressure control as well as diagnostic and information gathering technologies. Fairchild is the first company within this new Rotork Instruments Division. We are delighted to be a part of Rotork and look forward to a very successful future with our distributors, suppliers, and customers throughout the world.

Fairchild will continue its normal operations providing world class product, quality and service to all of our customers worldwide and we look forward to a continued growth with the Rotork organization.

Fairchild appoints National Sales Managers

In order to support our sales channel more effectively, we are pleased to announce two important strategic changes

in our Sales Management structure. Effective immediately, these changes will provide greatly improved support and expertise for our North American distributors and customers.

Pete Henderson (Pictured below left) has been elevated to the position of National Sales Manager.

In his new role, Pete will be responsible for Eastern Canada and the Northern United States, from the Atlantic

seaboard to the Dakotas.

Mike Dormire (Pictured below right) has also been elevated to the position of National Sales Manager.

His new areas of responsibility will be Western Canada, the Southern United States and the Western United States.

Pete brings a wealth of experience to his new position, having been with Fairchild for over 18 years, most recently

holding the title of Regional Sales Manager in the Northeast United States. In addition, prior to joining Fairchild, Pete

held a number of Sales positions for other manufacturers in the pneumatics and instrumentation fields.

Mike also brings tremendously broad experience to his new role, having worked for Fairchild for 5 years, most recently

holding the title of Regional Sales Manager in the South-central region of the United States. Prior to joining Fairchild,

Mike was engaged for well over 20 years in Sales responsibilities for other pneumatic and instrumentation companies

as well as a major fluid power distributor.
